Following an apprenticeship in the diesel trade, Ray Russell quickly ascended the ranks of the motor trade. He joined TT Automotive in 2008, following an impressive 25-year career with Ford, and is now responsible for the management and expansion of the vehicle workshop and diesel injection repair side of the business. Under his leadership, our diesel specialist workshop has more than doubled in size, and we now attract domestic and commercial vehicles from at least a 50-mile radius of our state-of- the-art facility in Loughborough.

With 20 years of experience in the world of fuel injection, Tim has the sort of broad knowledge that ensures customers get the advice they need regarding the right part for the job. He began his career at Nottingham-based diesel shop Frank Caldwell Ltd, spending eight years in a hands-on role, reconditioning injectors. Following a stint working with petrochemical valves, Tim came back into the automotive industry, joining TT Automotive as a Sales Co-ordinator. Now Customer Service Supervisor for the company, his practical expertise is instrumental in making sure the sales team has solid technical knowledge.

Barry has always been interested in computers and technology from an early age. In learning to build his own computer he got a good grip on the basics of hardware, as well as software installation and problem solving.

Joining TT automotive in 2008 in the despatch area, Barry quickly moved through the company into the newly built re-manufacturing facility where he let slip that he had an above average understanding of computers!

That was our cue to make him responsible for our IT network, hardware purchases, updates for all test equipment and our telephone/ CCTV system.

Simon joined the company in February 2012, bringing with him over 25 years of experience in the motor industry. An experienced account manager with an impressive track record, Simon has performed a number of senior management roles working with recognized market leaders in the vehicle parts distribution and manufacturing sectors.
In his role as Sales Development Manager, Simon is responsible for working closely with local businesses within the East Midlands, including: independent garages, main dealers, motor factors, HGV repairers, auto electrical and petrol injection specialists, coach, commercial and car fleet operators, agricultural engineers, plant hire, engine re-conditioners, generator and marine companies.
Simon brings with him drive, enthusiasm and a wealth of knowledge of the automotive aftermarket, all of which will prove invaluable for TT as we continue to grow.

Nathan started off at 16 with an apprenticeship in goods inwards/parts at a Ford main dealer, moving onto Telesales and being involved with stock ordering and parts allocation. He then undertook an NVQ level 2 & 3 in customer service and health and safety.

After 6 years working at dealerships Nathan then joined TT in 2012 as a service coordinator in our customer repair workshop and was promoted to workshop supervisor in 2014.

After being a full time Mum for many years, Sue did not know what career to follow when she resumed work So she went back to college on a European funded Fresh Start initiative, taking a number of courses including accounting AAT (Foundation and Intermediate), and computing CLIAT, IBT2,IBT3.

She worked for a National Leisure Company in their payroll Department before joining TT in 1999. Sue is responsible for our Sales Ledger function and takes pride in keeping the cash coming in!

Jason has a keen interest in the automotive industry and joined the Logistics Team here at TT in November 2013. Previous roles have seen him complete a diploma in advanced shift management, where he was managing large teams and also responsible for key areas including health and safety, security and inventory management.

His love of all things automotive saw him move careers to join TT and further strengthen our logistics arm. Since joining TT Jason has worked tirelessly to help on the quest to modernize and improve the day to day operations on the logistics side of our business. He is now a key member of our management team being responsible for our Logistics and Basic Facilities.
