New Technical Services Department launched

Over the last few years we’ve invested heavily in our remanufacturing and repair capabilities, including the addition of an ISO 14644-1 Class 9 clean room. Our next step is to launch a new dedicated Technical Services department in Loughborough, headed up by Technical Development Manager Martin Burden.

Housed in new custom-built premises on the site, the new department will enable us to increase the range and availability of our remanufactured diesel pumps and injectors, bringing new part numbers to market more swiftly. This will give customers the option of choosing a reman unit – and the benefit of an OE specification product at a lower price than new – for the very latest engines. Car, van & commercial vehicles are now catered for even more widely than before, with the latest additions to the CV reman range including Electronic Unit Injectors for Iveco, Scania, Deutz, Mack, Daf and Mercedes.

All R&D, warranty, quality control and old core processing will be handled by the new department, to ensure maximum speed and efficiency, ultimately benefitting the customer with even faster response times.

“We see our new Technical Services department as crucial to maintaining our commitment to quality and service. It’s only with investment in equipment, staff and process that we can continue to offer our customers the high standards that they have come to expect from TT Automotive. Manufacturers are continually refining and improving their products, and we must do the same in order to stay ahead of the curve,” said Martin. “But of course this new department is not only about the latest part numbers, but also about offering the widest remanufacturing capability in the industry. We aim to expand the department in 2014 with the addition of a technical helpline and in-house training facility”

MD Chris Paxman adds: It’s an exciting time for TT Automotive. We expanded our operation significantly last year, future-proofing our remanufacturing capabilities with new testing equipment, a clean room which enabled us to remanufacture injectors to Euro 5 emissions standards, and of course additional staff. 2013 is following suit, with the recent appointment of logistics expert Neil Cobley as our Warehouse Manager, and now our dedicated Technical Services department. We’re determined to stay at the forefront of diesel fuel injection, and continue to offer our customers the very highest standards of product, choice and service.”
